TLPCDC provides your active learner with a spacious stimulating classroom arranged with areas that will encourage your child’s creativity and discovery. Our one year theme based program will motivate your child’s language development in English, Spanish, and Sign language. Our hands-on atmosphere will help will your child’s fine and gross motor skills. Throughout your child’s day he/she will learn social, emotional, cognitive development, color and shape recognition, all balanced with story time, music and individual free time.
In addition, TLPCDC has a low student to teacher ratio which will provide your child with individual attention he/she needs to learn. At the end of each day you will receive a daily activity report detailing your child’s day. Your child’s teachers will document each meal, diaper change, duration of his/her nap time and learning activities pertaining to your child. TLPCDC reinforces the standards set by the Delaware Department of Education.
Our one year old teacher is highly qualified, with no less three years of child care experience in a group environment. Below you will find developmental characteristics implemented in our two year old program.
