INFANTS
TLPCDC is designed to meet the individual needs of infants six weeks to 12 months of age. Our teachers recognize the unique and ever changing needs of each individual baby in our care. Every morning when you sign-in your infant, his/her teachers will complete a short checklist with you. The checklist is to determine if your infant has any special needs that the caregivers should be aware of or pay special attention to throughout the day.
TLPCDC only offers four (4) slots within its infant program. It is the goal of the Center Administrator to always provide a two to one ratio in the infant room at all time. Our staff is highly trained; with no less than three years of experience caring for infants. You can rest assure that your infant will receive the quality care and attention that is necessary for his/her individual development and growth.
The infant room has the feel of an in-home nursery, beautifully decorated with themed base characters. Your infant will spend his/her day in a stimulating, yet warm environment learning activities through finger plays, nursery rhymes, story time, music, small and large muscle development, sensory development and sign language.
Each infant will have an individual lesson plan based on your child’s developmental needs. You will receive daily written reports stating your child’s feeding time, diaper changes, nap times, and learned activities. Below you will find developmental characteristics implemented in our infant program.
