PARENT-TEACHER RELATIONSHIP:
PARENT-TEACHER COMMITTEE MEMBERS FOR 2010-2011:
Center Administrator Janice Palmer, Committee Chair Madonna Malinowski, Pre-K Assistant Teacher Maria Santiago, Parents Dr. Suilai Mital, Angela Haynie, Sheree Reaves and St. Georges Technical High School Co-op, Bonnie Forbes. Committe members meet the second Monday of each month. The committe is tasked with reviewing the center's policy and procedures annually, planning special events and fundraisers, as well as plan, review and implement special program initiatives. Finally, the committe addresses any parent-teacher related issues and make recommendations to resolve the issues when possible.
OUR FEATURE PARENT-TEACHER COMMITTEE MEMBER
Our Feature Parent- Teacher Committee Member is Ms. Angela Haynie. Ms. Haynie is the mother of Alana W., a Before and After Care school-age student who attends Keene Elementary. She is actively involved in our fundraisers and other special events sponsored by the committee. She is a wonderful motivator who also supports the many special events at Keene. She is usually working behind the scenes at our Community Family Fun Day held in May each year and/or preparing meals for the many parents and students that attend our annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

Ms. Haynie is a Nurse by profession. Her passion is taking care of others with medical needs and serving in her community whenever possible. Her hobbies are decorating, reading, cooking and traveling. Her involvement in our community is commended. Thank you for all that you do.
